We had a customer, Ellen, come into the store who purchased a 2′x3′ wool rug.   A couple of weeks after she took her new beautiful find home we recieved the following email from her: “Just thought you might like to know what I did with that beautiful bird rug I purchased for my kitchen. I purchased some of that no-skid backing for carpet and sewed it (with carpet thread) onto the back. Then I purchased Scotchgard for carpets (not upholstery) and sprayed it on so it would repel dirt and stains better. It looks perfectly beautiful and I have no worries of the rug sliding on the ceramic floor or of dirt and stains spoiling it. I just have to remember to reapply the Scotchgard every 6 months for maximum effectiveness. You may want to pass this information on to others who want to purchase those small woolen rugs”.  We are so happy that Ellen shared this wonderful tip with us and we are able to pass on her wisdom.
